Farmer Trucking & Farmer Logistics, based in Gainesville GA, is a full-service freight transportation company specializing in time sensitive refrigerated food commodities. We were founded on the movement of poultry products, both fresh and frozen, years ago by LaWayne Farmer, later to be turned over to his son, Michael.
Today we continue to stay true to our roots and our poultry customers and shippers while servicing an array of refrigerated customers and freight as well.
Our mission is to provide best in class transportation services to our customer's safely and efficiently by utilizing quality personnel and resources. Offer cost effective, environmentally friendly and problem-solving solutions that assist our customers in achieving their objectives.
Our vision is to be the safest, most dependable transportation company in the U.S. We will utilize our training and our core values to achieve our mission.
Our logistics division, Farmer Logistics, was created in 2017 to provide assistance with the ever-growing local fresh poultry market by building and utilizing third party partnerships with trusted carriers. Farmer Logistics has grown to service just about any lane that is offered nationwide, which will benefit the customer, the carrier, and Farmer Logistics.
From GA to OR, MS to MN or TX to MA, Farmer Logistics can assist you by providing you exceptional customer service, afforded to us by the most modern technology as well as being accessible 24 hours a day.
Our asset division, Farmer Trucking, is largely comprised of transporting our direct customers' needs within the southeastern and mid-Atlantic areas. We still service other lanes as well to Texas, Nebraska, Minnesota and an occasional lane to a few northeastern states.
We are 100% refrigerated trailers comfortably capable of transporting freight as cold as -10 degrees.
Our dispatch operations utilize the most up to date version of the finest TMS in the industry, LoadMaster by Tom McLeod Software.
We also provide ELD devices that allow us real time tracking and tracing 24/7. Along with forward facing cameras in each of our power units, we are equipped with another layer of safety and
